This bread is so easy to make. Anyone can do it. Just mix ingredients and let sit overnight. Bake the next day for a crusty bread with it soft and chewy inside.

Easy Overnight Bread

This bread is super easy to make. No kneading. Just mix and let sit overnight

Equipment

  • dutch oven

Ingredients

  • 3 cups All Purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp yeast
  • 1.5 cups Warm water

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, stir in the flour, salt, yeast and water until combined. Cover with plastic wrap. Let sit at room temperature for 8-24 hours
  • Turn dough out onto a well-floured 12" square parchment paper and form a ball
  • Rest for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, place Dutch oven into the oven and preheat to 450 degrees
  • Use a sharp or serrated knife to cut  an "X" on top of the bread. Transfer to baking dish by lifting the corners of the parchment paper and cover
  • Bake covered 30 minutes. Uncover and bake about 15 more minutes until quite golden brown
  • Cool before slicing

Notes

If you don’t have a dutch oven use a pot with high walls and a lid
